Well, what can I say, I love 'Jane Eyre' and have watched every screening of it.
Not knowing which one is the best (because I am not objective anymore;p), I did a little experiment - I took my roommate to the cinema to see 2011 version of Jane Eyre (she never heard of any of this, so she had a 'fresh mind') and she liked the movie very much. Than I showed her the BBC version and she fell in love with it, of course, but she said that she doesn't understand why people seem to hate 2011 version, cuz even though it's not as brilliant as 2006's, it's a very good movie.
So. The problem of general contempt for 2011 Jane Eyre is solved - people are just prejudiced, cuz they saw the perfection of the 2006 version and seem not impressed with Michael when their dreamt Rochester is not-as-tall, more-hairy and broad-shouldered Stephens ;p
And even though I love Fassbender, I can't agree more with this statement!

Every Jane Eyre fan have their own version how the book was suppose to interpret and when anything they had seen fell short to that they grumble. I myself loved the 2011 version to a fault and thought it's the most perfect one that's ever done to date. The casting, the soundtrack, the script...perfect! Whoever the person is doing the future version is going to have a hard time to best this!

Not to mention I now have a hug crush on Michael Fassbender *facepalm*.

I am now waiting patiently on the DVD release so I can own the copy.
